Here’s where you can learn a little bit more about me personally!
I’m currently 21, and for as long as I can remember I have always loved to create things. Whether it’s films, music or writing, I’ve always felt right at home generating an idea and seeing it brought to life. From a young age I would sit on Windows Movie Maker chopping together films I made on my parents’ old camera, which has definitely influenced me to take on a course such as Television and Broadcasting. Sadly, many of the recordings are now missing, however a few are still out there. Here’s the first film I ever made: a stop motion video of a Dalek from Doctor Who:
That was uploaded to YouTube 10 years ago, and whilst it’s a bit cringey to watch now (I don’t think I fully understood the idea of a stop motion video!) that is undeniably the humble beginnings of my TV career!
My graduation is looming ever closer, and I’m hoping this blog will give you a chance to see how my skills have evolved from the start of the year to the end, ultimately preparing me to enter the television industry.
My other hobbies include playing in a local band called “The Seaside Six” where we cover music of the 50’s and 60’s. I’m also a keen game show enthusiast, having appeared on ITV’s Tipping Point.
